slyme: project management

In a Project Management course taken at the University of Connecticut, I worked alongside team members to create and present a business idea serving a purpose to the UConn community. Our team decided to explore our love for social media and music by creating “slyme: socially linking your music and entertainment”. “slyme” is a social platform that allows college individuals to highlight and share their favorite artists. Artists got the chance to promote their music and share upcoming shows and events. Additionally, the application generated daily playlists for users based on their musical taste and favorite artists. Recruiters would also be able to contact artists directly to perform at venues or discuss future opportunities. Our team presented this project to the rest of our classmates, as well our professor, and received very satisfactory reviews. My portion of the project included creating the design for this application and displaying examples of what the application would look like to provide the class with a physical representation of “slyme”.
